Russian leader Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi held talks at the Moscow residence of the President of the Russian Federation in Novo-Ogarevo, as reported in the Telegram channel «Kremlin. News».
«An informal meeting between Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi is taking place in Novo-Ogarevo,» the message said.
In the footage, Putin greets Modi as he arrives at the residence, they shake hands and sit down at a table with tea and fruit outdoors.
«We have official talks scheduled for tomorrow, but today we can chat in a homely atmosphere. This is the official residence where I live. On this side, there is the complex where we work with colleagues, on the other side are the living quarters and the house where I reside. You’ve been there with us,» Putin told the Indian Prime Minister.
Earlier it was reported that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Russia on an official visit. His plane landed at Vnukovo-2 Airport, where First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov greeted Modi at the airstair. The Indian Prime Minister will be in Russia until July 9.
