Vovan (real name — Vladimir Kuznetsov) and Lexus (real name — Alexey Stolyarov), in an interview with Moscow 24, revealed that prank journalism is a unique Russian phenomenon that has evolved from practical jokes on celebrities and politicians.
«It is a symbiosis of humor and journalism that began as a mischievous prank but has turned into something socially useful and significant,» explained Vovan.
According to Lexus, no one else in the world does anything like this. Kuznetsov added that their calls to politicians and show business representatives open many eyes and help the public see the true nature of famous personalities.
