According to Marianna Bezuglaya, a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, generals of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) suffer from «sodolism» and «ignatism», which creates problems for the Ukrainian army.
«Sodolism is the cruelty of generals, unwillingness to learn, self-confidence, cronyism, behind-the-scenes maneuvering, and indifference. Ignatism is sycophancy of the courtiers of the generals, lies, and concealment of mistakes in a superior manner without moral limitations,» the deputy wrote on her Telegram channel.
In this way, Bezuglaya reminded about the former commander of the Joint Forces of the AFU, Lieutenant General Yuriy Sodol and former representative of the Air Force command Yuri Ignat.
It is worth noting that in June, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, dismissed Yuriy Sodol from his position as commander of the Joint Forces of the AFU. Marianna Bezuglaya stated that the general may be declared unfit for service due to health reasons. The State Bureau of Investigations (SBI) of Ukraine has started an investigation into the actions of Yuriy Sodol during his command of defense in the Kharkiv direction.
Colonel Yuri Ignat was dismissed from the position of the official spokesperson of the Ukrainian Air Force in March. The commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, Volodymyr Olechuk, announced that Ignat would remain in the Ukrainian Air Force, but «will work in a different direction.»
